Dowfrost HD heat transfer fluid is an industrial corrosion inhibitor with a formulation of 94 percentpropylene glycol. The fluid is dyed fluorescent yellow to aid in leak detection. Solutions in water providefreeze protection to below -50°C (-60°F) and burst protection to below -73°C (-100°F).
Recommended use temperature range is from -45°C (-50°F) to 160°C (325°F). Suitable applicationsinclude: single fluid process and cooling, closed loop, water-based HVAC applications where propyleneglycol solutions are preferred or required. (Note: Dowfrost HD is not approved for food use by theUSDA and FDA, nor is suitable for food or beverage application.) Product is available in 1, 5, and 55gallons.
Storage and Protection:
Store in a cool, dry place away from incompatible sources. Protect from moisture and store in a tightlyclosed container. Wash hands thoroughly before handling and use with adequate ventilation.
Avoidcontact with eyes, skin, and clothing. In case of contamination, remove clothing and wash well beforereuse. Avoid ingestion and inhalation.
